Free school materials about birds of prey – from grade 1 to university

Bringing your class to Eagleworld, or learning about birds of prey back at school? Download free materials for five levels.

There are materials for grades 1–3, grades 4–7, grades 8–10, upper secondary and university. Each level has a PDF pupil booklet with a teacher's page and QR codes to films and articles, a quiz the class can take online – on the board or on their own phones – and short films from our video archive. It is all built on 50 years of work with birds of prey.

The materials work both before and after a visit. The youngest can listen to short texts read aloud and look at big pictures, while older pupils can go deeper into evolution, the physics of flight, conservation and the history of falconry. There are also tips for teachers and practical information about school visits.

Choose the level at the top of the page, download the booklet and take the quiz together afterwards. If you visit us: pupils in grades 1–10 at Danish folkeskoler and private schools pay DKK 65 each (online ticket, minimum 10 people); the other school prices are on the page.
